What Banega is

Banega is a pre-order platform. Makers offer products that haven't been made yet. When you reserve one, you place a pre-order with that maker. You are not investing, lending money, or buying a share of any business, and you receive no financial return.

Who you're buying from

The maker is the seller of the product and is responsible for making and delivering it. Banega runs the platform, verifies makers and operates each campaign. Payments are processed by Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway, on the maker's own Razorpay account. Banega does not receive or hold backers' money.

Targets and closing dates

Every campaign shows its target (in units), its price, any shipping charge and its closing date before you reserve.

The e-mandate

• When you reserve, you approve an e-mandate (eNACH) with your bank by Aadhaar OTP, netbanking or debit card. ₹0 is charged at that point.
• The mandate is capped at exactly the reservation total shown before you approve it. It authorises a single debit.
• If the campaign reaches its target by the closing date, we notify you at least 24 hours before the debit is requested.
• If the campaign does not reach its target, the mandate is cancelled and nothing is charged.
• If a debit fails, it is requested again after 3 days, up to 3 more times. If all attempts fail, the reservation lapses and the mandate is cancelled.
• The mandate is cancelled once the debit succeeds, and expires 30 days after the closing date in any case.
• You can cancel a reservation, and its mandate, at any time before the closing date.

Your account

You sign in with Google or a link sent to your email. Keep access to that account secure. Give a correct delivery address, and tell us within 48 hours if an order arrives damaged.

Makers' obligations

Makers agree to our campaign guidelines, to deliver what they described by the month they promised, to post an update at least every 14 days until delivery, and to refund backers when a funded campaign can't be delivered. Makers may not list packaged food, and toys for children under 14 need a BIS licence.

What we don't allow

Automated access, scraping, attempts to get around security, reservations you don't intend to honour, and anything unlawful. We may close accounts that do these things.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai have jurisdiction.
